James Harden of the Houston Rockets has a reputation as being one of the league's most efficient players, he also holds the title of being one of the league's biggest floppers, as well. Flopping is when a player exaggerates contact from another player in an effort to draw a foul on the other team.
Harden has been tagged with his second flopping violation in just seven games. The league announced Monday that his second flopping violation, which happened Saturday night against the L. A. Clippers, would cost him a $5,000 fine. On that play, Harden grabbed a rebound and felt some pressure from Clipper's star Blake Griffin, Harden launched himself out of bounds to draw a foul.
Harden's first flopping violation came on November 5th against the Portland Trailblazers where he also exaggerated contact to try and draw a foul. His next offense which would be his third total will cost Harden $10,000.
