SURFSIDE BEACH, SC (WMBF) – One of the women featured on Horry County's Most Wanted on Thursday is in custody Friday morning after law enforcement received a tip from a viewer.

Ardnecia Scott, who was wanted for food stamp fraud over $10,000, was arrested during a traffic stop Friday morning by the Town of Surfside Beach Police Department, according to the Horry County Sheriff's Office.

She will be transported to J. Reuben Long Detention Center for a bond hearing.

Scott was one of two women wanted for allegedly receiving more than $10,000 in food stamps that they weren't entitled to, and if she is convicted, she could face a fine of up to $5,000 or up to 10 years in jail.
