Posted: Updated:

The Cleveland Cavaliers looked to win their third straight as they traveled to Atlanta to take on the Hawks. The Hawks started off hot as they outscored the Cavs 37-20 in the first quarter. The Cavaliers never recovered after Atlanta's fast start, they get the loss tonight, 108-89.

Kyrie Irving was perhaps the biggest story Friday night for the Cavaliers, being held scoreless for the first time in his NBA Career. Irving went 0-for-9 from field goal range, 0-for-3 from three point range and 0-for-3 from the free throw line. He only played 20 minutes in the loss and did not come back in the game the entire second half.

Dion Waiters is starting to hit his stride as he scored a season high 30 points to lead the Cavaliers in scoring. Waiters has scored over 20 points in four of his last five games.

Andrew Bynum continues to make consistent progress scoring 20 points in 27 minutes Friday night. Bynum went 9-for-14 from field goal range and had 13 rebounds in the Cavaliers 10th loss on the road this season. Jarrett Jack was the only other player to score in double digits for the Cavaliers Friday night, he put up 12 points and went 2-for-4 from three point range.

The Cavaliers(6-13) have lost seven of their last 10 games and return home Saturday night to host the (13-7) Los Angeles Clippers.
