Investigation continues into suspicious fire that killed Cleveland sisters

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Firefighters continue to investigate the suspicious fire that killed two young sisters in Cleveland.

7-year-old Glacia Ramsey and her younger sister, Peaches Christburg were killed in a fire last week on Kipling Avenue.

Police tell 19 Action News the fire on Thursday night was started by a person who broke into the apartment and locked the children's babysitter in a closet.

The babysitter was able to escape the fire unharmed.

A fund has been established to help pay for funeral expenses. Anyone wishing to make a donation may do so at any Key Bank location in the name of Peaches Christburg or Glacia Ramsey.

Police are asking that anyone with information call the Homicide Unit at 216-252-7463 or text your tip to 274637.
