Suspected robber now blamed for death of accomplice in home invasion

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

New developments in a deadly Cleveland home invasion.

Early Tuesday morning, a Rudyard Road homeowner shot two robbery suspects who had forced him into his home and beat and pistol-whipped him.

One of the suspects, Robert L. Brown, 20, was killed. The second suspect survived, and is now charged with his suspected accomplice's death.

Willie Riley is now charged with murder.

An investigation continues.
