CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

While most of us are thinking about Christmas Eve, Beverage Distributors Inc. is working on New Year's Eve.

This Cleveland based company, of 80 years, has chosen to get involved in the Cleveland Rocks New Years Eve party.

"So, we just felt it was really important us being in the Cleveland area, in Cleveland proper, that we should be involved in this event, it's just a very feel good thing for us. We want to be involved in anything Cleveland. We want to see the city grow," says Greg Findura, Beverage Distributors Inc.

Because of Beverage Distributors involvement, both Miller Light and Heineken have donated large amounts of money for the party. Beverage Distributors will provide the beer trailers and the 300 kegs for the beer garden on Public Square.

"It's just the weather predicated kind of thing. I don't know what the weather is going to be like in two weeks. If it's really cold we may not get an opening day atmosphere. If it's weather like we had yesterday I think it's going to be really good. The warmer the weather the more beer pours," says Findura.

Keep in mind this will be a family friendly event, the beer garden will be on one section of the square and will be gated off.

Getting involved means more work for this Cleveland company but it also means helping to bring Cleveland pride back to downtown.

"It's going to be great opportunity down there for everybody to have a really great time on New Year's Eve, and it's never been done in the Cleveland area before so that's another thing you want to be a part that first event," adds Findura.
