North Canton: Gas station robbery suspect turns himself in

NORTH CANTON, OH (WOIO) -

The second suspect involved in a gas station robbery turned himself in to authorities Monday, according to police.

Javawn A. Moore turned himself in at the Canton Police Department after learning the North Canton Police department and Stark County Fugitive Task Force were looking for him on a felony warrant for "Complicity to Commit Robbery."

On December 7, 2013, Moore and his cousin, Jewel Moore robbed SPEE-D-FOODS gas station located on 953 South Main Street.

Jewel Moore was arrested on a traffic stop shortly after the robbery. He was placed under arrest for aggravated robbery, possessing criminal tools, using weapons while intoxicated, carrying concealed weapons and underage consumption.
