Accident splits car's roof, driver injured

A woman was flown to UC Medical Center following a single-car accident on State Route 32 Thursday afternoon.

The accident happened on eastbound State Route 32 near the Williamsburg exit. The victim's car drove into a guardrail, splitting the vehicle's roof on the passenger side.   

Authorities say that a single passenger of the car was taken to UC Medical Center by Air Care. The accident is currently under investigation.

Officers say that the victim's injuries do not appear life-threatening.
