Berea, OH (WOIO) - For the fourth straight year, the Browns close out the season against the Pittsburgh Steelers, and any way you add up the numbers, they're not good. 18 losses in their last 20 games against Pittsburgh. Six straight losses overall this season. A 7th would set a franchise record for the worst slide to end a season. But a win? That would not only mean finishing yet another disappointing strong, it would officially crush the Steelers' remaining playoff hopes.
"I'm not worried about playing the spoiler", Browns cornerback Joe Haden said on Thursday. "I'm just looking for a W".
Haden isn't sure he'll even be on the field at Heinz Field on Sunday, after aggravating his hip pointer in last week's loss to the Jets. He sat out practice on Thursday, along with Phil Taylor (concussion), Jordan Cameron (concussion), T.J. Ward (shoulder), John Hughes (knee/elbow), Jason Pinskton (concussion), Shawn Lauvao (thigh), and Andre Smith (calf). The Browns are battered and bruised, as they close out 2013, with so many questions looming, as always, in 2014.
