Drunk driver clocked at 105mph in Montville

MONTVILLE, OH (WOIO) -

A drunk driver traveling at a dangerously high speed was busted in Montville this week.

Montville Police tell 19 Action News a 25-year-old Akron woman passed an officer entering I-71, from SR 18, at a high rate of speed. The woman was paced traveling at 105mph as she swerved across all three lanes of the highway.

As the officer radioed for other units to assist, the woman passed a vehicle in the left berm lane and a traffic stop was quickly initiated. Once stopped, the woman failed the roadside test, and she was brought back to the station where she tested over the .08 legal limit.
