SUSPECT PHOTO: Woman robbed at gunpoint in parking lot of Beachwood Mall

BEACHWOOD, OH (WOIO) -

Beachwood Police are investigating an armed robbery in the parking lot of Beachwood Mall.

It happened around 11 p.m. on December 23.

A woman was getting into her car in the parking lot when a man opened the passenger side door, pointed a gun at her and demanded her purse and valuables.

The man then fled in a silver-colored vehicle.

The victim's credit card was used within minutes of the robbery at a local gas station and ATM.

Police were able to obtain a surveillance pics from the ATM of the suspect and vehicle.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or the vehicle involved is urged to contact Beachwood Police at 216-464-1234.
