Severe weather causes several schools to close for 1-2 days

The winter storm warning has dropped for some areas, those shaded in red are under the warning. Wind chill warnings start at noon.

According to the US National Weather Service, Cleveland OH is scaling back on the Winter storm warning.  This is not surprising due to the rain before our switch over to snow after midnight.

There is a winter storm warning now and a winter weather advisory for Richland, Ashland, Wayne, Stark, Medina, Summit, Portage, Trumbull, Tuscarawas, Columbiana, Carroll and Mahoning County in effect until Noon Monday.

A winter storm warning remains in effect for Ashtabula, Lake, Geauga and Cuyahoga until 9 a.m. Wednesday and Ottawa, Sandusky, Seneca, Erie, Huron and Lorain County until 4 a.m. Monday.

The wind chill warning now starts at Noon Monday and continues through 9 a.m. Wednesday.
