LORAIN COUNTY, OH (WOIO) -

A Lorain County Corrections Officer and his K-9 partner find marijuana in a letter addressed to an inmate.

It happened on Jan. 3 at the Lorain County Jail.

Corrections Officer Glen Mead and his K-9 partner, Karma, were conducting a routine search of the incoming inmate mail, when Karma alerted on a particular piece of correspondence.

Once isolated and checked further, the letter contained what was later determined to be marijuana.
