Miles sets record as Cavs shoot down Sixers

Cleveland (WOIO) - Maybe it was the energy from the trade, even though Luol Deng won't arrive in Cleveland until Thursday. Maybe it was the relief of shedding Andrew Bynum's attitude. Something got into the Cavaliers on Tuesday night, and they used it to propel them past the Sixers, 111-93 at the "Q".

C.J. Miles was the story, throwing down a team-record 10 three-pointers, including five in the opening quarter, and 34 points overall. Andy Varejao added 18 points and 14 rebounds, and Kyrie Irving, back from a minor knee injury, chipped in with 16 points and 8 assists, as the Cavs opened up a double-digit lead early and cruised to the win.

Michael Carter-Williams led Philly with 33 points.

The Cavaliers now head west for a 10-day, 5-game trip.
