CLOSED: Wicked Winter prompts closures

A number of businesses and attractions have closed due to the wicked weather for Wednesday, March 12. If you have a closure, email us at web@19actionnews.com.

  • Abigayles Quiltery is cancelling all evening classes in both the Olmsted Falls location and the Berea location.
  • Due to inclement weather conditions, the Second Lakeview Baptist Church - Cleveland, OH (Cuyahoga County) will be closed evening classes.
  • The Church of the Lion of Judah Bible Study (Word Alive) service is cancelled tonight due the severe weather conditions.
  • St. Paul Lutheran Church, Valley City - Worship Service has been canceled 
  • Windham Community Lenten Service canceled tonight. 
  • St. Timothy Missionary Baptist Church-7101 Carnegie Ave. in Cleveland-All Activities canceled. 
  •  St. John Lutheran Church, Strongsville. Lenten Service and all evening activities are canceled.
  • Due to the weather forecast and current conditions, Madison Village Mayor Sam Britton has canceled the Mayor's Court Session for this evening at 6:00 pm. Those persons scheduled to appear today will be notified to appear at the next scheduled session, March 26, 2014 at 6:00pm.
  • Adoption Network Cleveland's Evening Activities Canceled: Summit County General Support and Discussion Meeting and OCWTP Parent Training
  • Kent State ASHTABULA Campus closed all day Wednesday. Only essential employees report to work. GEAUGA Campus (Twinsburg and Regional Academic Center) closed all day.
  • Boys & Girls Clubs of Lorain County will be closed today at all of our locations
  • Sandusky Municipal Court is closed
  • The Community Forum on Drug Addiction scheduled for tonight at Oberlin Library has been canceled. We are planning on rescheduling this for sometime in April.
  • The Pasta House in Garrettsville will be closed today for the safety of it's staff and patrons.
  • The Botanical Garden is closed due to weather conditions.
  • CWRU is closed. Only essential personnel should remain on campus/ report after 1:30.
  • Shaker Heights Municipal Court closing at 2 p.m.
  • The Cuyahoga County Justice Center is closing going down to a "skeleton" crew.  Many workers are leaving early
  • The Willoughby Historical Society Meeting scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled.  (Lake Co.)
  • East Cleveland Public Library is closed on Wednesday due to the inclement weather.
  • The 2014 OHSAA Boys Basketball Division I Tournament at the Wolstein Center has been moved to Thursday. Times remain the same.
  • All evening activities at Tallmadge Lutheran Church, Tallmadge, have been canceled.
  • Prayer Meeting/Bible Study canceled at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church 10101 St Clair Ave, Cleveland
  • Lutheran's March Madness Men's Health Fair at Sagrada
  • St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church, 811 S. Broadway, Geneva, 44041 in Ashtabula County has cancelled tonight's (Wed. March 12th) soup supper and Lenten Worship service.
