CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The death of a 2-year-old boy has been ruled a homicide by the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner's Office.

EMS was originally called to the East 75 Street home of Datro D. Allen on Friday, January 10, 2014.

Mom says the toddler was running around playing earlier in the day before he laid down to take a nap. When she woke him up and tried to put his coat on, his body was limp.

The child was pronounced dead later at MetroHealth Medical Center.

An autopsy revealed today that Datro died of "blunt force impacts with skeletal, visceral and soft tissue injuries," but police have not released any other details of the child's injuries.

There were five other children in the home at the time. They were taken by social workers and are currently staying with a grandmother.

So far no one has been arrested.
