CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

19 Action News captures video of police breaking up more fights on Cleveland's Public Square exposing an ongoing problem.

In fact, on Monday, a 17-year-old boy says he was knocked unconscious for no reason while waiting for a bus on the square.

Privately, officers say they break up fights and crowds of violent teens on a regular basis. Usually, the teens go after other teens after school.  Many kids switch buses and trains at Public Square and Tower City.

Thomas Black says on Monday, two teens approached him and attacked him without saying a word.  He says he recognized only one of them.  Police were able to catch one of his attackers.

Black and his mom are calling for something to be done about the trouble on the square.

Cleveland Police point out they have officers on horseback and regular patrol there, but some teens start fights and other trouble right in front of officers.
