DEARBORN COUNTY, IN (FOX19) -

Police in southeastern Indiana have arrested a Springdale man and an Illinois man on drug charges after Indiana State Police received information late Wednesday afternoon about a person in possession of a large quantity of drugs who was staying at a Greensburg, Ind. hotel.

Greensburg Police and state troopers set up surveillance on the hotel and the vehicle associated with the individual.

Police later arrested Luis R. Magallon, 32, of Roselle, Ill., charging him with dealing in heroin (more than 3 grams) and conspiracy to deal heroin. Both are class A felonies.

Police also arrested Kurt Holmes, 23, of Springdale. He was charged with possession of controlled substance with other charges possible, Indiana State Police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
