NORWOOD, OH (FOX19) -

On January 13, Police responded to reports of a BP Gas Station robbery at 4900 Montgomery Rd.

Police say a light skinned black male dressed in all black, wearing a white face mask, entered the BP Gas Station and displayed a black semi-auto handgun.

The suspect proceeded to bang on the lottery machine asking for the lottery money. When the clerk indicated that there was no lottery money, the suspect demanded again to have it.

The clerk then proceeded to open the cash register and gave him the money.

When the suspect started towards the door to leave, he turned and pointed the gun at the clerk causing her to duck behind the counter.

The suspect's age is unknown at this time. He is approximately 5'9-5'10", medium build. The mask is white in color with a hole in the forehead area, eyes and mouth. Suspect could also be wearing sunglasses.

Police urge anyone with information about this crime to contact the Tri-State Crime Stoppers.
