Akron police search for gunmen

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Akron police are asking for your help to solve a deadly shooting. 

The shooting happened right around 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon in the 200 block of Noble Avenue. 

The unidentified 26-year-old victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds and pronounced dead by the Summit County Medical Examiner. 

A silver Dodge Durango with tinted windows was last seen leaving the area.

Witnesses say they believe three black males were in the SUV.

Right now police do not have a motive. 

Akron police are also investigating another shooting that happened just before noon. 

This one took place in the 200 block of Mustill Court. 

The victim, 29-year old Charles Roderick was shot in the neck and taken by friends to St. Thomas Hospital. 
 
He has been stabilized and his injuries do not appear to be life threatening. 

Police say witnesses say Roderick was shot in the neck following a physical altercation.
