CLEVELAND, OH -

Cleveland Police are asking for your help in finding the suspect responsible for breaking a bottle over a sailor's head at a Cleveland west side bar.

The incident happened in December 2013 inside Benny's Sports Cafe on Cleveland's west side.

Video shows two people walking away from an argument when a man blind sides one of them with a vicious attack with a bottle.

The victim is Steven Stalla, a U.S. sailor on leave from the Navy. He was visiting his hometown for the holidays from the Navy.

He told 19 Action News the attacker started mouthing off about girls. Stalla pulled his friend away and started walking in the opposite direction.  Then, Stalla was attacked.

Investigators need to know the suspects name and where he lives. Video shows the man hurrying out of the door after the attack.

"It makes me frustrated, for the rest of my life, I have to walk around with scars on my face just for trying to help a friend," Stalla said.  Though, Stalla said he'd still have a friend's back next time, too.
