Men charged in Findley State Park assault

WELLINGTON, OH (WOIO) -

Two suspects surrendered to Ohio State Patrol Post for an alleged assault at the Findley State Park near Wellington in Lorain County.

Thomas J. Denes Jr., 34, and Todd P. Denes, 31, are both charged with one count of felonious assault. Todd P. Denes is also being charged with one count of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Authorities tell 19 Action News the two suspects attacked the victim on the state park grounds on January 15. The victim's vehicle was used without permission by one suspect and damaged state property with the vehicle.

Denes and Denes were arraigned on January 20, and bond was set at $5,000 for each suspect
