Crime Stoppers: Colerain Police seek woman for bad checks

COLERAIN TOWNSHIP, OH (FOX19) -

Colerain Township Police are attempting to identify a Caucasian woman who police say passed several stolen checks at the Northgate Kroger store.

The woman is described as being in her mid to upper 20s, 5 feet 4 inches tall  to 5 feet 6 inches tall, heavyset with dark hair.

Police said that she has passed several stolen checks at the Northgate Kroger, located at 9690 Colerain Ave.  She has been passing checks since October 2013 and uses them to purchase groceries, forging the signature on the checks. 

Police said it is unknown how she obtained the checks and the loss to the victim is approximately $1,000.  If anyone can identify this woman, contact Crime Stoppers at 513-352-3040.  All calls are anonymous and callers may be eligible for a cash reward.
