CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Cleveland Fire crews battled a large factory fire on West 17th Street and Willey Avenue in Tremont early Friday.

The fire broke out just before seven a.m.

The building, known as the Fairmont Creamery, was under construction to become apartments and retail/office space.

The construction had started earlier this month.

19 Action News has learned the blaze was started by construction crews working on the third floor. The construction workers were inside huge coolers with torches and the torches caught something on fire.

One firefighter suffered a hand injury and was transported to Metro.
