Cleveland city snow plan

Posted: Updated:
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

City of Cleveland crews are gearing up for another round of winter weather with plans to double the size of city crews by 12:00 a.m. January 25.

With three-to-six inches of snow expected city officials are encouraging everyone to stay indoors as much as possible and not to travel if you don't have to.

However if you must go outdoors, take proper precautions to stay safe.

The City of Cleveland strongly advises you make way for the increased number of snow plows and park your car off the street.

If you must travel use caution and allow extra time.  Also, remember not to block intersections.

After 12:00 a.m. January 25 nearly 50 crews will be out preparing for a winter emergency.

You can also prepare yourself, your pets and your home.
