Oakley children's bookstore robbed at gunpoint, police seek suspect

OAKLEY, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are searching for a suspect after an Oakley children's bookstore was robbed at gunpoint.

The incident happened around 4 p.m. at the Blue Manatee Children's Bookstore and Café, located in the 3000 block of Madison Road.

Police say that a man entered the store armed with a handgun and demanded cash. Authorities say that the suspect got away with an undisclosed amount of currency.

Officers are currently looking for a single suspect in relation to the incident. Police have described the suspect as a black male with a slim build. Officers say he is around 6-foot-1, with black jeans and a black book bag.
