The nephew of Ariel Castro was in court on Thursday to answer to child porn charges.

Jeremi Alicea pleaded not guilty to 22 charges related to kiddie porn. His bond was set at $2,500.

Alicea is accused of downloading child pornography on computers.

Investigators say Alicea's case is not related to the case of Ariel Castro. Castro was convicted of holding three women captive for more than a decade on Cleveland's Seymour Avenue. Castro later committed suicide in prison.

The Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force led the child porn investigation, which began last September and wrapped up last month.
