Elderly woman killed in Green crash

GREEN, OH (WOIO) -

An investigation is underway after a deadly accident in Green on Tuesday afternoon.

It happened around 3:45 p.m. in the 200 block of West Turkeyfoot Lake Road.

A 2007 Chrysler 300 was eastbound on West Turkeyfoot Lake Road when the vehicle went left of center and hit a 2004 Saturn Vue.

The driver of the Chrysler, a 75-year-old Green woman, was pronounced dead on the scene. The driver of the Saturn, a 33-year-old Akron man, was transported to Akron General Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

The crash is still under investigation by the Summit County Sheriff's Office Crash Team.
