CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

Bob Evans restaurants are reaching out to help a retired East Cleveland Police Officer raise money to get his son a service dog.

Rocco was born in July of 1997 with Autism-Developmental Delay.

A trained service dog will improve Rocco's socialization and relationship skills and provide much needed aid and emotional support.

Rocco has asked for a companion that will make him feel safe and positive about himself.

All day Friday, Feb. 21 and Saturday, Feb. 22, every Northeast Ohio Bob Evans will participate in the fundraiser.

Just tell your server your want to donate to Rocco's cause and a portion of the bill will be donated.

This is dine-in or carry out!

W.A.G.S 4 Kids will provide the trained service dog.
