A Lincoln Heights man was arraigned Tuesday in Hamilton County Municipal Court in connection with a home invasion and shooting early Monday in South Fairmount.

Lashawn Larkin, 19, is charged with one count of aggravated burglary. Bond was set at $250,000.

The incident was reported around 3 a.m. in the 2500 block of Mandery Avenue. Police said two men broke inside the basement of a home. The homeowner heard noises, grabbed a gun and went downstairs.

One of suspects and the homeowner got into a struggle and the suspect was able to steal the homeowner's gun. Police said the homeowner grabbed another gun and they fired shots at each other. The two suspects then immediately took off.
