Oh Canada! Cavaliers lose again

Posted: Updated:

Cleveland (WOIO) - The Cavaliers' chances for a playoff push took another hit on Tuesday night, as DeMar DeRozan threw down a game-high 33 points and the Toronto Raptors dealt them their third straight loss, 99-93 at Quicken Loans Arena.

The loss leaves the Cavaliers (22-36) 14 games under .500, with a game in Oklahoma City on deck for Wednesday.

Kyrie Irving, held scoreless in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Wizards, came alive in the second half in this game, finishing with 25 points, and never leaving the court in the final two quarters. But it wasn't enough for the depleted Cavaliers, who were once again playing without Andy Varejao, Dion Waiters and C.J. Miles.
