Medical Examiner identifies man shot in head in Cleveland

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner has identified the man shot in the head on Cleveland's west side.

Anthony Thomas, 20, was shot around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Ridge Road. He was pronounced dead on the scene by EMS.

The preliminary investigation reveals that Thomas may have been a patron of the Castle Bar and that the shooting occurred across the street from the bar.

At this time, there is no witness or suspect information. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 216-623-5464.
