A clear cold start is ahead for Thursday, but temperatures will rebound from a low of 12 degrees in to the mid and upper teens for this morning's commute.  Meteorologist Frank Marzullo will have your entire forecast this morning. Here's what else to expect on the FOX19 Morning News.

Mardi Gras is this weekend and we'll be cooking up some festive treats. Findlay Market will be here with a recipe for jambalaya, and S&J Bakery will be making king cakes.

Terrace Park Elementary second grade teacher Maria Childs has written her first children's book "Firefighters Don't." Tracey Johnson will sit down with Maria to learn more about her book and how it's benefiting a cause close to Maria's heart.

If you're a fan of American Idol like the rest of the FOX19 crew, you won't want to miss our recap of last night's episode. Q102's Brian Douglas will be here to detail all the idol highlights and reveal his predictions.

Artswave, a local organization, is encouraging our community to lead an active life through new programs around the Tri-State. Jessica Brown will be live at World of Golf in Florence with more details.

We're live and local for 6.5 hours this morning. Join us for all of this and more!
