The Baltimore Ravens look to bounce back in 2014 NFL season, and they take a huge first step in the right direction as they lock up a big part of last seasons success. The Ravens lock up Dennis Pitta for five more years. Baltimore was at the bottom of the pack in 3rd down conversions without Pitta.
Jason La Canfora hears that the deal should average around $6.5 million per year. In the Ravens Super Bowl run of 2012 -2013 season the big target hauled in 61 passes for 669 yards and 7 touchdowns, however 2013-2014 season would not be as kind to the tight end as Pitta was sidelined with a hip injury, but would return early in December where he grabbed 20 balls for 169 yards and a TD.
