CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Cleveland Cavaliers wanted to keep the positive vibes flowing after their big win over the Oklahoma City Thunder Wednesday night. On Friday night the Cavs' hosted the Utah Jazz and did just that, coming away with a 20 point 99-79 victory.

Kyrie Irving had a huge night, earning his first career triple double with 21 points 10 rebounds and 12 assists, he also led both teams in scoring. Tristan Thompson also came up big for the Cavs' Friday night putting up 18 points and 14 rebounds. Jarrett Jack was the only starter who didn't score in double digits during the 20 point route. Spencer Hawes started his first game since coming to Cleveland via trade. He didn't disappoint, scoring 13 points and 16 rebounds.

Utah only shot 35% from the field as a team in the loss. Leading the way for Utah tonight was Gordon Hayward who turned in 18 points to go along with seven assists and seven rebounds. They also shot a disappointing 64% as a team from the free throw line. Things won't get any easier for Utah, as they will travel to Indiana to take on the Pacers Sunday night.

Utah led the game 41-39 going into halftime. The Cavaliers came back in the second half with a major chip on their shoulders, and would outscore the Jazz 60-38 in the remaining two quarters. The Cavs' are now only four games back from the Atlanta Hawks for the eighth seed in the NBA Playoffs.

The Cavaliers (24-36) will look to extend their current win streak to three games on Saturday as they will travel to Memphis to take on the Grizzlies.
