Drug Task Force seizes money, drugs from Fostoria home

SENECA COUNTY, OH (Toledo News Now) -

The Seneca County Drug Task Force snagged quite a few illegal drugs before they could hit the streets on Friday.

Officers say they had evidence that drug trafficking and drug abuse was going on at a home on Bugner Street in Fostoria.

Police say it originally started with another investigation where cocaine was obtained.

That investigation led to the search warrant the Seneca County Drug Task Force used on Friday at the home of 22-year-old Jocelyn Schreiner and 27-year-old Cory Mcdonald.

Police say they found $2,300 in cash, marijuana, and peraphernalia indicating drug abuse and drug trafficking.

This year alone the drug task force has already followed through with 50 cases.

"We do it quite often, more so than some of the other entities such as police departments and what not. They kind of deal with everything else and we focus on the drug problems in the county," said Sgt. Donald Joseph.

If you'd like to report any drug activity you can call the Seneca County Drug Task force at 1-877-446-DRUG.
