LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - Police from several agencies were involved in a chase that started in southern Indiana and ended in downtown Louisville.

Chief Mark Palmer of the Clarksville Police Department said his officers were seeking a black Monte Carlo involved in a shoplifting incident on Veterans Parkway. The car was spotted by Jeffersonville Police on I-65 heading south toward Kentucky.

Jeffersonville officers stopped the car on I-65 at just past Muhammad Ali Boulevard after it crossed into Louisville. Those in the car were taken into custody by police after being identified by the store manager.
