Bruce Springsteen's 70s band to be honored, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2014 induction ceremony simulcast

CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

The Barclays Center Brooklyn will be the venue for the 2014 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony.

The April 10, 2014 event will be simulcast on screens at the museum here in Cleveland.

New inductees will include Peter Gabriel, Daryl Hall and John Oates, KISS, Nirvana. Linda Ronstadt and Cat Stevens, who now goes by the name Yusuf Islam.

Those who never took the stage but still played a major role in the entertainment arena who will be inducted are The Beatles' late manager Brian Epstein and The Rolling Stones' original manager Andrew Loog Oldham.

The Hall's Award for Musical Excellence will be given to The E Street Band, founded by Bruce Springsteen back in the 70s.

The ceremony hits Cleveland every three years and will return in 2015.
