Frontier adds new nonstop destinations at Hopkins

Posted: Updated:

Frontier Airlines has announced another expansion at Cleveland Hopkins Internal Airport adding six new nonstop destinations beginning June 13.

The six new nonstop destinations to and from Cleveland are:

  • Atlanta, GA (ATL)
  • Fort Lauderdale, FL (FLL)
  • Fort Myers, FL (RSW)
  • Phoenix, Ariz. (PHX)
  • Raleigh-Durham, NC (RDU)
  • Tampa, Fla (TPA)

"We saw such a great reaction to the service we announced a few weeks back," Daniel Shurz, Senior Vice President of Frontier Airlines said. "We're very excited about the opportunity here and were very excited to be announcing more routes."

With this addition Frontier will now offer 12 nonstop destinations from Cleveland.  The airlines currently have nonstop flight service to Denver, Trenton, NJ, and will begin service to Orlando and Seattle in June.  The new flights will be operated on 168 seat aircrafts.

Room was made for expansion for Frontier when United Airlines announced earlier this year that they will drop their flights out of Hopkins from 199 to 72 by June.

Frontier is offering introductory rates for all six flights through March 15 with the lowest being a one way ticket to Raleigh-Durham for $39.
