Two women charged in connection to Lumberton home invasion

LUMBERTON, NC (WMBF) - Two arrests have been made in connection to a home invasion in Lumberton, NC, according to police.

Lumberton Police Captain Terry W. Parker confirms Candace Williams and Adriana Jolly were arrested and charged in connection to a home invasion.

The crime happened Sunday, March 16 around 10 p.m. on Orange Street, according to a press release issued by the police department.

The release states Williams and Jolly kicked in the door of the residence, and one of the suspects beat the resident with a handgun and stole an undisclosed amount of money.

Police arrested both women on the scene. The press release states Candice Williams is charged with conspiracy to commit breaking and entering. Adriana Jolly is charged with first-degree burglary and conspiracy to commit breaking and entering.

The investigation remains open, and Captain Parker states there will be more arrests in the near future involving this case.
