GEORGETOWN, OH (FOX19) -

A Sardinia man is facing an aggravated murder charge in connection with the death of his grandmother.

Police say that Brenda Housh was found dead in her home in the 6700 block of Stephan Road in Sardinia. Authorities took Adam Sweet, 30, into custody after finding him in Housh's vehicle Monday night in Clermont County.

Sweet was arraigned Tuesday in Brown County Municipal Court.

Dispatch received calls regarding the incident around 2 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Juanita Downing, Sweet's mother and Housh's daughter, called  911.

"It's my mom. Something's happened to her. Somebody did something to her. … My son was here and he's been on drugs," Downing said.

Later Downing said Sweet was staying with his grandmother.

"We thought he was like getting better. So I don't know if he's done something or somebody came in. I don't know," Downing said.

Downing said she has "the worst fear that my son has done something to (Housh)." Downing said Sweet has two twin boys at a Mount Orab trailer park.

"And I'm just worried that if he's done this to my mother which was the apple of his eye, I'm afraid he will go there next," Downing said.

Downing said there was a Facebook post Saturday "night that this was his last supper. So I thought, you know, he's just threatening to kill himself like he always does."
