Downtown Chase Bank robbed, police investigate

CINCINNATI, OH (FOX19) -

Cincinnati Police are searching for a suspect following a bank robbery in the central business district of downtown Cincinnati.

The robbery happened around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Chase Bank, located at 45 E. 4th Street.

Officers say that the suspect entered the bank from E.4th street and handed the teller a note demanding money. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the building on foot. He was last seen traveling eastbound toward Walnut Street.

The suspect has been described as a black male with a tall, medium build. Officers say he was wearing a black beanie cap, a black winter coat and charcoal gray denim pants.
