After missing the last two years rehabbing from injuries, Grady Sizemore is back. The Boston Red Sox announced he will be their starting center fielder on Opening Day.
Sizemore's injury problems started in 2009, after a period where he only missed nine games in four years. In 2006 and 2007 he played in all 162 games. From 2009 to 2011 he battled various leg and back injuries.
This spring, Sizemore not only stayed healthy but also put up an OPS of .842 and logged more walks than strikeouts.
