The Philadelphia Eagles have decided to part ways with the 3-time Pro Bowler DeShawn Jackson. The speedster from the University of California is fresh off of a 82 catch season along with four touchdowns.
ESPN's Sal Paolantonio reported that the release was mainly in regards to work ethic and attitude. It was first reported that Jackson was involved in a gang out of Los Angeles, but Jackson denies any involvement in gang activity stating "I am not a gang member." Jackson is coming off of his 3rd Pro Bowl Season and is free to sign with any team immediately.
The teams said to have interest in the six year receiver are the Panthers, Jets, Raiders, Patriots, 49ers, Chargers and Chiefs.
