GARFIELD HEIGHTS, OH (WOIO) -

Garfield Heights Police detectives say they have made three arrests in the murder of 15-year-old Davone Wright, who was shot in the head on March 14. He died two days later.

Police arrested two 17-year-olds earlier today, and arrested a third suspect following a foot chase.

They have not been formally charged as of this afternoon, but detectives tell us that they are in a Juvenile Detention center. Officials are considering transferring them over to Common Pleas Court.

Davone was shot while running away from shots fired in the parking lot of the Word of Righteousness Family Center on Friday, March 14, just before 11 p.m.

Friends say that Davone attended a party at the center that night and he was not involved in whatever led up to the shooting.

No names are being released since the suspects are juveniles.
