BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WECT) - Multiple fire crews responded to a two-story house fire at 2727 Sunrise Street in Varnamtown in Brunswick County Monday afternoon.

According to officials, when crews arrived on scene the house was engulfed in flames. 

The family, three adults and two children, managed to get out when the fire started.

The fire destroyed the home, a detached garage, and damaged several vehicles. The damage is estimated to be $300,000.

No one was injured and the cause of the fire is unknown. Officials say the fire does not appear to be arson, but it's still under investigation.
