Summit County men wanted for firing shots at landlord

AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Two men are accused of firing shots at their landlord Tuesday afternoon on Lake Street in Akron. 

The landlord told police he was at his rental property when the previous tenants showed up and argued with the landlord over property they left in the house. 

After the argument, police said the tenants fired several shots at the landlord before fleeing in a car. The landlord was not injured.

A warrant for aggravated menacing was issued for 27-year-old Benjamin D. Marshall, who also has warrants for several drug offenses. 24-year-old James D. ce III of West State Street in Barberton is wanted for felonious assault.

Marshall is 5'11, 170 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. James D. Dempsie III is 6'01, 220 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes.

Police said Marshall and Dempsie should be considered armed and dangerous.
