The performance ignited the room. The performance ignited the room.
CLEVELAND, OH (WOIO) -

There was a Gala dinner Friday, April at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at the Key Center to showcase a performance by Dancing Classrooms students and raise money for their continued success.

The organization uses dancing to build social awareness, confidence, and self-esteem in Cleveland Children through social dance. Their slogan is "Transforming Lives - One Step at a Time"

The dancers are 5th - 8th graders learning to treat each other with respect and to practice acceptance. Our Danielle Serino was honored to emcee the event.

Dancing Classrooms is a 10-week - 20 session social development program that utilizes ballroom dancing as a vehicle to change the lives of not only the children who participate in the program but also the lives of the teachers and parents who support them.
