Toad-ally Awesome Amphibians TODAY 12-4

Cleveland Metroparks North Chagrin Nature Center presents Toad-ally Awesome Amphibians - a toad-ally fun and free event!

Celebrate the sights and sounds of spring by discovering the fascinating world of amphibians.
 
The event will be held on Saturday, April 5 from noon to 4 p.m. at the North Chagrin Nature Center which is located off Buttermilk Falls Parkway, off the Sunset Lane entrance of North Chagrin Reservation, accessible from SOM Center Road/Route 91 in Mayfield Village.

Animals featured at the event are: a barred tiger salamander, Amazon horned frog, Budgett's frog, Malayan leaf frog, northern red salamander, gray tree frog, spotted salamander, red-eyed tree frog, and poison dart frogs.

While exploring the nature center, guests can design a cool make-n-take toad abode.

Children can "wade" into the new pond discovery room featuring amphibian activities, games and even "transform" into an amphibian.

Guests can walk around the nature center's Sanctuary Marsh and Sunset Pond in search of toad-ally awesome amphibians.
