AKRON, OH (WOIO) -

Shots fired into an Akron home narrowly missed anyone inside.

It happened around 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning in the 1000 block of Linden Avenue.

Neighbors are shocked about the shooting.

"It's a real quiet street, everyone walks their dogs," said one resident.

19 Action News has learned that several rounds penetrated a living room couch, where a  46-year-old man was sitting.  Two other 20-year-olds were also inside the house at the time of the shooting.

No one was injured.

"Pow, pow, pow, that's what I heard," said another resident.

Responding officers recovered shell casings in the yard and on the porch. Officers also observed bullet holes in the living room window.

Anyone with information is urged to contact Akron Police at 330-375-2181.
